Step 1: If you've been living under a rock then lucky you. For the rest of us, surviving in a post-pandemic world with travel restrictions, multiple strains of the virus and all while the world struggles with civil unrest has us all looking like this... It's understandable...hell, even I contemplated the need to leave the house on multiple occasions simply from the stupid things outside my door. TLDR, I personally avoid everything... STEP 2: ? It's hard for me because as an artist, I see other creators constantly online and I try to balance work and home life to a healthy divide but sometimes it means something lacks somewhere else. What's the V^Z Project? You may have heard me mention it before but what is it? As most of you may know, I do all of my own music production, mixing, mastering, graphic design, merchandising, marketing, web design and more and that's all exhausting. After doing so much on my own, I did research on how the music industry works and realized that it was time for a change. For those of you that are interested in music, arts, media, sales, owning a business, website development, website design, etc should know that this is not easy. I keep getting asked by fans when the next song, video or other art that I make will be public and I have to shudder every time I am asked. Why? I just don't always have the time, patience or honestly the creative willpower to push through all of life's issues at once. So, if you are interested in art, music or any of the other things I mentioned above then take some time to read through what I do and why it's such a daunting task. For most music artists, they just focus on the art {if we can barely call it that} but for those who are as hands-on with their art and have to take it all on their own, you start to get winded pretty quick. 1. The Art - Obviously you would have to do your artwork and would have to do it well. In order to master your craft you would need to practice and understand where you could improve from continuously working on your art. Juggle this first. 2. Promotions - So now you have your art, now what? Well, you have to get your art out to the public. For me, I have a website but a website is useless without traffic. That's where you get out there on social media and email lists and get your art seen/heard. If you don't know how to build a website then either learn or pay someone to do it for you. As far as social media, just posting a few pictures and staying up-to-date sounds pretty easy but when you're in charge of everything else then things start to pile up pretty fast. 3. Real Life - So you're an artist but you have a regular life, so what do you do? Do you lock yourself away in a room until your art is complete and disregard the world? No, you can't do that. You would need to juggle your regular life and your creative life together so that there aren't any clashes with the two. So, for those of you that keep asking when new stuff is coming out then please know that I am always working diligently for you. I'm always looking into new ideas to engage with the fans, connect with new fans and give you all new things for being such awesome fans. It takes a lot to produce music, compose music, write lyrics, record lyrics, master music, become a social media promotions, learn website building, learn website analytics, understand clothing design and much, much more. This will be the Official place for all my music, videos, clothing and much more...which brings me to my first new addition, The launch of the Official HaXxXo VtotheZ Clothing Line named HVZ and a completely redesigned online store going live tomorrow June 16th at 3pm PST. Some other new additions. - The HV^Z Gaming Channel and the HV^Z Studio Channel. - The HV^Z Gaming Channel will be a YouTube channel dedicated to posting PS4 gameplay, reviews, live-streaming and will even join you in games if you send me a friend request on PSN. Does anyone else feel that type of negativity that seems to come from all angles? Like, right when you think things are going fine...they don't? Well, I struggle with that...a lot. It seems to be that people are usually out for themselves and rarely like to support others unless there is some benefit for them. For example, I recently went in business with some people that said they would help my music career. In reality I have not seen one benefit from them and often feel it's because I might not be talented enough or because of some other issue with me. Then it hit me... That's when I realized that it was because I was not providing any type of benefit to them. It's not in their best interest to help me if I cannot financially help them. I mean, sure. There aren't a lot of music artists that can figure out how to work their DVD players let alone make a website and run it along with social media and everything else to promote themselves. Most artists have other people to cook, clean, manage and maintain their lives and even apparently post pictures for them on Instagram and Facebook. I guess I'm just different. Apparently I need to accept that and so should you. Never believe that you are not good enough for something just because someone else is not there to carry you. Your worth is based on you, not how others perceive you. This is why I'm determined. I'm tired of putting in more effort to get less than other people just because they need their hand held. I've never been given anything that I didn't deserve and I don't ever expect it. I need to do it myself and realize that the only person who will ever be responsible for my success will be me and me alone. #diy #determined #unstoppable #vengeance

A few people have asked me my specific criteria for the Fan of the Month page and I have to say that it is a good question. While I pretty much explain it on the page itself, I have to admit that it does seem a bit vague. In all honesty, there is no specific amount of sharing, commenting or liking that I consider. In fact, it's all feeling based. If I feel that you honestly and truly like my music without bias or without sucking up then I consider you for the spot. It's as simple as that. I have fans that share the music but never again interact with me and that's not what I'm all about. i want this to be a joint experience where i make music and people stay connected to me on a personal level rather than show a bit of love and then run off. That's why I started the page; to boost intereactions and keep a specific list of my supporters throughout this journey. So, if you like the music and what I do then share it but let me know. Tell me what you like, dislike and would like to see in the future. I'm far too "unfamous" to be jaded enough to not talk to fans on a personal level so get out there and interact. So after much tinkering {funny word} with the website, I have decided to make some changes to benefit some other artists that may not have a website of their own. This is all really hard work and what hurts many artists is venues and market space. Many artists are very talented but cannot either find the time or don't know how to create their own website. This is why I have decided to set up the Official Artists United Page. This page will feature artists that have either reached out to me or ones that I have reached out to. It will include a small bio, some of their music links {my favorite songs of course} and links to their other social media channels so that fans can like and share their pages as well. Marketing is one of the hardest concepts for many artists to grasp and so since I am experienced in social and internet marketing, this will be the best way that I can help other artists break out and get noticed while also giving the site some more much needed attention. I've gotta say that I love my fans...I mean, I really do. My fans have all supported me despite several bouts with negativity that most people would take at face value or simply quit upon hearing. My fans are the most committed, honest, persistent and overall most real people that I know. They're also very diverse, coming from different ages, races and sexes. I've talked to the hardcore "bronies" as well as members of the LGBT community. They're military supporters as well as members of the military. They're fellow musicians as well as as lovers of music in general. They're the reason for me to be motivated to make music. I have to say that I feel truly honored to have someone tell me they're honestly interested in what I do even if I'm a complete stranger to them. It shows me that fans can all be different and can all still agree on at least one thing. I'm honored to have people support me in everything I do. It's been awhile but it's because I've been connecting with new artists, recording compilations, doing production work for other artists and recording vocals for all of my instrumentals for the "Who Are You?" release coming soon.
